We collaborated with a team of experts to deliver this fantastic workplace in Netherlands. The design brief was to create an office space that encourages collaboration and offers the staff a great working environment, while maximising the space efficiency. Spread across 2 floors with two different occupiers; the design for the first floor is inspired by the Netherlands and Amsterdam in specific, while the Ground floor has a homely industrial feel with splashes of colour inspired by client's branding. Each floor has is own cafe space supported by a professional catering kitchen.
We used chipboard extensively in partitions, and added full sized wall murals to existing walls. The breakout space features a beautiful tree. The exposed surfaces on the ceiling add to the energy and excitement of the space. When white walls are reconsidered as something other than a default, colour begins to play with the space instead of merely sitting on top of it.
