Next door to the 'walkie-talkie', our client Royal London asked us to design an inviting workspace for their building. The core building is Edwardian and re-constructed recently to provide top tier accommodation. Our design brings colour and identity, whilst creating a space ready for any business to move in.
Desks are given top priority and brought into the double aspect lit space at the front of the floorplate. We put the kitchen breakout towards the back of the space, preserving daylight for working time, and creating a cozy breakout space to connect with colleagues over coffee. The temporary banner seen in the last image is the occupant's temporary signage as this space was let before it was completed.
